Are there any Diet Side Effects?

Weight loss has become a concern for many people all over the world, because more and more get obese and the beauty standards are getting thinner and thinner. So, dieting is a preoccupation for those that have some extra pounds. What have you ever thought about what will happen after the diet? If there are any side effects and how to go about these? First of all, you have to know that the fast diets that promise you to lose weight fast, have a major side effect that you probably will hate: weight gain. Yes, that’s right: after having lost 10-20 pounds in a month or a really short period of time, it is most likely that after the diet is over, you will gain back every pound and even more. Plus, there will be some other health issues involved. There will be fatigue, nausea, headaches.

When you start eating less, you won’t feel too good either, even if you will start losing weight. You will be tired all the time, feel dizzy and lack the energy to go on with your daily chores.
If you want the low carb diet, you have to consider the following side effects: constipation, bad breath, kidney damage, high cholesterol and high triglycerides in the blood.
In case you want to reduce the fats that you eat and start such a diet, this will result in serious health issues: trouble in blood coagulation, frequent bruising, and dry skin. The diets based on liquids will deprive you of antioxidants and fibers and you will be constantly tired and hungry. Also weight gain will be experienced. The cabbage soup, besides that awful taste will bring you sleepiness, fatigue and weight gain again, after you stop the diet.

In case you like fruits and would like to give a shot to the fruit based diet, be careful! Most diets based on fruits don't have any fats or proteins and you cannot live without fats and proteins because your hair will fall, your nails will get weak and you will look pale and get depressed easily. So, if you want to avoid this, include some nutrients in your diet.
As you have seen, all the major types of diets will have side effects. Some of these are more severe than others. So, the basic line is to choose a diet that is sensible and balanced. Mix that with a bit of exercise and you may be able to lose weight in a healthy manner and keep your body in shape for a long time.
